UK government advised to harness Covid-19 pandemic to speed zero-carbon aims

Britain was moving toward its commitment to produce no more emissions than it can offset or store by 2050 - but steps so far “do not yet measure up to the size of the net-zero challenge”, a report by Britain’s Committee on Climate Change said.
