Fault lines: On Sept 15, a 23-yr-old Dalit man got a text message from a woman he was said to be in a relationship with. He rushed to her house and was caught by her kin, who allegedly set him ablaze. Now, even children in his village say Abhishank Pal was killed ‘because he was Dalit’.
